Time is a concept, that was given by our parents and society to describe the world of our five senses. But for the Kabbalist time is not the same as for the normal person. Exceeding the borders of that which we call time and space is no big problem for him. Imagine there is a street on a hill, on which a car will come from the back of it. There's now a group of people in front of the hill, that will see the car only when it will appear on their side of the hill. But when I'm for example sitting on a high tower, I'll be able to attain a farther view, and will be able to see the car before the other people on the ground are seeing it. So it is with time. A Kabbalist will see the events which will take place in the future already now.
The same is with the past. Imagine you could go back and experience your childhood again. Time travel will only become possible, if someone learns through meditation to stop the inner dialogue of the mind. The constant chatter in the mind is preventing the real world from appearing before our eyes. When we begin to sense the real world, the borders between dream, and that which we normally call reality will fade. And exactly this is also the purpose of the book of Zohar, which for our consciousness is like an overdose of light. We must just create the vessel to be able to receive it. And a real vessel is a trained and controlled mind, that is completely emptied from the Everyday thoughts and chatter. When the mind becomes silent it gets able to travel into the past or future. We realize, that they happen here and now and when a certain number of individuals have transformed their consciousness enough, we will all exceed the boundaries of time and space, because we will realize, that they're mere conceptions of the mind, and nothing else.
