We Don’t Study to Learn but to Unlearn

Not the wise or intelligent one is learning, but the one with the right intention. The real goal of the spiritual process is not to accumulate wisdom or knowledge, but finally to face life as it is without intervening concepts. And we may learn about Sefirot and letters, Partzufim, etc. but those concepts are only there to peel our ego. And when our ego is stripped off from all its layers or shells, the only thing that is remaining is simple light (Or Pashut) or life itself. We don't see reality as it is, but only through the distorted lenses of our ego. And there are many people, that think they have acquired great knowledge when they begin to philosophize about spiritual worlds, degrees, Partzufim, etc., but from complexity we advance to simpleness. The highest truth is to become natural and simple. But we're yet far away from any naturality or simpleness. And so we read or scan Hebrew letters, because they are the means to guide us back to the white light of the pages, that stays behind or around those letters written by black ink. And this white light means to be simple and relaxed, natural and taking oneself not too important with all the wisdom one has gained.
